Biography

Rob and Pats formed an experimental post-punk band back in 2006. Both learned and enjoyed a common set of interests, but their plans got sidetracked in 2008. A year later, they decided to pursue their project with the resolve of finding band members with the same interests.
A couple of weeks later, Rob met up with Gep after an exchange of ideas in a local musician's forum. Right after Rob, Pats and Gep immediately went in the studio. The result was magical. Their chemistry was solid. The music in their heads came alive, things were much clearer and they all knew they wanted to "paint" the same painting.
From there, they decided to audition for bassists and placed advertisements in various forums. Months after posting online ads and trying out potential members, they drafted in Mike. As soon as they got in the studio together, everything just felt bound together.
Their music is driven by melody, beats, rhythm, harmony, imagination, dreams, love, fear and freedom. After months of crafting and refining the melodies in their heads and hearts - LIP SERVICE is here to share its intense, raw, driving music to the world.

Louie Poco - Bass Guitar/Vocals

Biography
Over the past few years, a group of young men has dominated a niche market in the music industry. The Bloomfields have been entertaining people, young and old alike, with good old ‘60s music. The group predominantly plays rock and roll with sporadic ballads and mellow hits. They play at various bars across the metro and are favorites for corporate and media events. They are one of the few bands in the Philippines that incorporates harmonies into high-energy numbers. With every performance, they treat the audience to an incredible audible and visual experience.

The band is composed of four young men who display musical versatility. Apart from playing their respective instruments, each member is also adept at singing. Outside of the music scene, the members are also very accomplished - they are all educated, intelligent and eloquent young men.

Rocky Collado is fondly called “Gene Krupa of the Philippines” and “Doctor of the drums” due to his unparalleled talent in drum playing. His famous rendition of “Little B” is always a highpoint in their performance. Rocky is also a very talented singer, a gifted visual artist and the resident “talker” of the band.

Lakan Hila plays the lead guitar and the keyboard. He comes from a family of musicians which explains his proficiency in virtually any instrument he attempts to play. Lakan is responsible for the amazing leads during instrumentals often playing the keyboard with his guitar still firmly strapped to his chest.

Louie Poco is the bass player and the master of rock and roll showmanship. He is often seen jumping off stages, standing on tables and doing all sorts of maneuvers. He is also the go-to guy for blaring songs. He has the perfect raspy, high-pitched voice for authentic rock and roll.

Dino Pascual is the youngest member of the group. He plays the rhythm guitar and is also the resident balladeer. He has a strong but soothing voice that is always a hit with the ladies. His acoustic roots also allowed him to bring diversity to the band’s repertoire.

Individually, they are amazing but together they are unstoppable. The Bloomfields bring back the richness of the ‘60s with the vitality and energy of today. Young men playing old music – who could ask for more?

Nikki Cuna - Drums

Biography
In biological terms, Nyctinasty means the nastic rhythmic movement of plants in response to the onset of darkness. The current incarnation of the band was formed back in 2006. Playing in the underground circuit for quite a while for around 3 years already, Nyctinasty's Noodle Perez and Pat Garcia recruited then "Hidden Nikki" drummer Nikki Cuna to play drums for them. Shortly thereafter, they were able to convince their friend Levi to play the bass.Today, you'd usually find them playing gigs everywhere. They have played in most of the biggest music events that one could ever hope to be part of in the Manila music circuit.Their much anticipated first album Camping Indoors, is already out. The album features 11 riff-heavy, passion-filled, eargasmic tunes that span their wide, even eclectic, influences.

The Vaccines

Formed in June 2010, the band consists of Justin Young (vocals, who previously worked under the name Jay Jay Pistolet, playing indie folk), Árni Hjörvar (bass), Freddie Cowan (guitar, younger brother of Tom from The Horrors) and Pete Robertson (drums). The band was initially formed by Young and Cowan with a third member who soon left. The band released their demo "If You Wanna" in the Summer of 2010 where the track received praise from Zane Lowe, who named it as his 'Hottest Record In The World' on 18 August 2010.[9] After playing their first gig in Leicester, they embarked on their first UK tour between September and November 2010, and interest in the band led their first London performance (at The Flowerpot in October 2010) to sell out, with the audience including Alex Kapranos, Marcus Mumford, and members of White Lies and The Maccabees, and 200 people having to be turned away, the performance being described by Clash as "fantastic, exhilarating and exciting"
The band then released their debut single "Wreckin' Bar (Ra Ra Ra)" on 29 November 2010 in the UK where it reached number 157 in the UK Singles Chart. Only one minute and 24 seconds long, it was named "Track of the Day" by Q magazine.[14] The band recorded their first ever radio session for Marc Riley's BBC 6 Music show in December 2010.[15] The band also performed live on Later with Jools Holland and in December 2010, they were one of the nominees in the BBC's 'Sound of 2011'.[4] The band have been signed to play on the 2011 NME Awards Tour.[4] Having been signed to Columbia Records, the band released their second single "Post Break-Up Sex" on 24 January 2011; where it debuted at number 32 in the UK.[16][17] The Vaccines were also nominated for an MTV Award for "Best New Band of 2011". The band released their debut album What Did You Expect From The Vaccines? on 14 March 2011 through Columbia Records[3]. The album was going to be released on the 21 March 2011, coinsiding with the release of The Strokes' fourth album Angles, but was bought forward a week.

ANBERLIN Live in Manila (A-Venue Makati)

Anberlin  Live in Manila Concert is held at the A-Venue Hall in Makati Philippines last March 09, 2011. The gates open at around 6 Pm-Manila time. The concert is presented By Pulp Live Productions; it was fronted by 3 of our great local acts Typecast, Salamin and Jejeview as they set the stage with nerve rocking performance.

Here’s some brief information about the band-Anberlin is an American alternative rock band from Winter Haven, Florida, formed in 2002. Since the beginning of 2007, the band has consisted of lead vocalist Stephen Christian, bassist Deon Rexroat, lead guitarist Joseph Milligan, drummer Nathan Young and rhythm guitarist Christian McAlhaney.  They are known for their hit songs BREAKING, GODSPEED, ADELAIDE, IMPOSSIBLE, TAKE ME (AS YOU FOUND ME) and many more. They’ve been promoting this along with pulp and radio stations as early as last year.

The concert was really awesome two thumbs up to Pulp production for bringing Anberlin here in the Philippines. The crowd banging their heads-off, dance, and sing along as they perform their greatest hits. Anberlin is very happy on how the Pinoy’s embraces their music, Stephen Christian (Anberlin’s Vocalist  ) keep on saying “Thank you this won’t be the last” , and later on Promised that they will be back. So for those who wasn’t able to watch the concert wait for their come back its going to be big… they are here as part of their promo tour for their latest album “Dark is the Way, Light is a Place. It was a very successful concert, though they didn’t play my favorite song Breaking..  But I'm pretty sure both Anberlin and the crowd enjoy the concert very much.
