Biography:

Created by its original members from DLSU; Matt Warren, Rex Somera and Bello Lanto had already been playing the college band circuit extensively when they were joined by their current drummer Bing Monge and Matt’s sister Pipay on second guitar. Since then, Ephesus has honed their Post-punk/Christian sound and their unique three part vocal harmonies at popular productions and events such as Sonic Boom and Fete de La Musique.

In early 2009 they released their first radio single “Narratives”, on premiere rock station NU107, reaching the #3 spot on the Stairway to Seven hit chart. Currently, the band has finished production their full length album “To Speak of Citylights and Skyscrapers” at Tower of Doom Records with the multi- awarded Eric Perlas (Out of Body Special, Franco) at the helm.

“Dreams Overture”, which landed on #2 on the RJUR Pinoy Rock Countdown, was the second single leading up to their highly successful album launch held in June 2010 at premiere rock destination Saguijo.

Ephesus’ third single is “Comprehension Through Nails”.
