The ABS-CBN News Channel or ANC is the 24-hour news channel operated by the ABS-CBN Corporation under the ABS-CBN News and Current Affairs brand. Its news and current affairs programs are primarily in English. Originally known as the Sarimanok News Network (SNN), the channel was established in 1996. The current head of ANC is veteran journalist Glenda Gloria^[1], who joined the news channel in February 2000 as its chief operating officer.
In the Philippines and abroad, ANC is seen through cable and satellite television through The Filipino Channel, another ABS-CBN affiliate. ABS-CBN News Channel works in collaboration with three newspapers, including BusinessWorld, Business Mirror, The Philippine Star, and Philippine Daily Inquirer.
