Biography:

The chance meeting between Ozawa Lauran, a Filipina-Japanese teenager, and Bel Sayson (6Underground, The Amandas) urged them to form a new band showcasing the young girl’s unique big voice. Bel invited friends Rommel dela Cruz (Barbie’s Cradle, Freestyle) and Otep Concepcion (Francis M, Rico Blanco) to join them in composing and arranging new songs for the band. The songs made are an amalgam of pop hook, modern rock, and skillful playing geared toward the discerning crowd. After much deliberation, the band is called OZAWA.

Their self-titled debut album is now available at Odyssey, Music One, Fully Booked, and O Music, promoting it by doing the rounds of bar gigs, big events, and mall tours. Despite being a new group, they already have 3 music videos, with the current "Falling Into You" being shown in local music channels.
