Tanduay Rhum Rock Fest 2010 is a proof that the
Rock Scene here in the Philippines is still alive, numerous numbers of rock fanatics gathered to take part on this long awaited gathering of rock bands form 90's to the present.
Its was very crowded.The organizers declare a
stop entry on the General Admission area, some crowd express their disappointment violently by throwing small rocks inside the event, and some wanted to gate crash pushes down some barricades. But it stopped immediately when some police men steps in.Some walk home, and others just stayed and listen outside, of course we pity them. Though some of this things happened the event turns out very successful.

Jam-packed performance from the bands, with a little surprises, like Yeng Constantino sang with 6 cycle mind on one of their song, Gloc 9 also jammed with them(6 cycle mind).Wolf gang's guitarist Manuel Legarda jammed with RazorBack, we all know that this two bands are friends. Parokya ni edgar's guitarist Gab Chee-kee is absent so they got help from kamikazee's guitarist Jomal Linao.In the middle of their song Jay Contreras(kamikazee's lead vocals) entered and start doing the dirty dance,while singing along with Chito and Vinci. Its one hell of performance from the two bands, the crowd scream their heart out and laugh at same time. You know,' when this two joined force expect the unexpected.

Green department- Some of you missed this band, a must see performance,Amazing, they still have those lyrically funny rock sound.There are few who don't know them, may be they were not into music back then,or some wasn't born yet,' when this band take its peak in the mainstream during 90s.
But when they watch them perform they gone wild..!! ha ha ha' , just kidding.. They played their greatest hits, and the crowd sing along while of course the song "Shampoo Day" is the crowd favorite. They added some silly lyrics, and mixed-up some Rnb songs to it ,quite refreshingly funny.

Yano also made a remarkable comeback, we didn't expect that the old guitarist(
Erick Gancio) will take the part of its former front man Dong Abay.Yano has new members, and according to him they are now based in Davao.They performed some of their old songs like
Tsinelas(sleepers)
and Banal Na Aso, Santong Kabayo (Tagalog for
Holy Dog, Saintly Horse).Nicely done by the band and we should give credit to Erick for keeping the band alive.Speaking of comeback
The Youth also came back with new vocalist.At first I thought it was Dodong Cruz because of his long hair and same figure as Dodong, but nope, its not him.Its okay,' the two original members where there; the Bassist Robert Javier and the Drummer Erap Carrasco.This guys are also known during 90's,together with The Teeth,The Wuds who also one of the performers.
Wolf Gang also performed.They played their all time Favorite song
Halik ni Hudas, and some of their hit songs.
Color it red also performed with their beautiful and still sexy vocalist Cooky Chua.
Bamboo Played
Bagong Sigaw Tanduay's commercial jingle.All bands performed on the said event was really great.They made another mark on the history of Philippine rock scene or the so called
Pinoy Bato.We must also give thanks to Tanduay for this rare occasion.Here are some photos I've taken from the fest.Some were pixelated I'm a bit far from the stage i just use my digi-cam.
